Author: Mary Janice Davidson
Genre: vampire/ fiction/ comedy/ paranormal
Series: Book 9 of the Undead Series
For those who like comedy, Mary Janice Davidson does a lame joke on vampires. This series has to be read from book one: Undead and Unwed is the first book in the series, and the first book was quite good, it has a sound plot and storyline.
Alas, this book however defies all logic. First, time traveling with a half angel (in hell) and half human with a demonic sword and bow sounds eerily familiar. It is like with a wave of a wand a portal is opened, why doors then?
Secondly, there is no distinct reason why they are traveling through time, the funny thing is they were supposed to be traveling through dimensions. The explanation and the reason to travel is weird, and the outcome of the travel is worse than that.
I honestly do not know why there are so many books in this series, and what is the story really about, other than a Queen of the Undead who is reluctant and lacking in the IQ department. You would think by the 9th book a Queen would have matured a little bit. Or at least depicted as being an authoritative figure, but sadly that is not the case.
While the first book is entertaining, the series goes rapidly down hill from here; and in this book's case, it is below sea-level. Read at your own peril.
