Carpathian Novels

Dark Predator
Author: Christine Feehan
Genre: Fantasy/Horror
Publisher: The Berkerley Publishing Group
ISBN:978-0-7499-5479-6

The reason why I love reading Christine Feehan's Carpathian novels is because I love stories of undying love. I find it more fun reading men who are the ones swearing the oath and then keeping it, truth to be told, I do not think men and women alike are capable of loving like a those in the novels.
Even though they are fictitious characters, it is the idea of protecting loved ones from danger that brings people to read romance stories, the conflict and the resolve of problems, both present in real life.
Christine Feehan is an established writer, more so that Laurell Hamilton, whose Anita Blake novels are fast turning into a boring read. Her characters, the men in particular are funny to read; but you will feel bad for them as they struggle with 'modern' women.
If romance is  in your blood, then you should really try the Carpathian series. The Dark Predator in particular is quite touching, if you forgive the extremeness of the male hero, his maleness I should say. His heroine is not a weakling, thank God for that. Beyond that I am not saying more, because it is worth the 8 hours of reading.
